Our School

Fraserburgh North is a vibrant school which has around 90 pupils from nursery up to primary 7.  We have recently started a new journey to ensure all our learners are safe, cared for and able to achieve, with all stakeholders involved in how we reach this aim.

Fraserburgh North School is situated in the centre of Fraserburgh and benefits from being within walking distance of the main attractions and points of interest. The school community comprises of seven different nationalities which leads to a lively and rich learning environment with 25% of our school population having English as a second language.  62% of our school population registers in decile one and two of the SIMD. 28% are decile three and four and 10% are drawn from decile five and above.   

At Fraserburgh North we provide an enhanced provision class for the cluster to which children who require extra support for literacy and numeracy may be referred.  Referrals for this come from Head Teachers of the Fraserburgh Cluster Primary Schools and decisions are made by a panel with the support of our Educational Psychologists.
